The Monthly Review

Once a month: “Run my monthly review.”

Deeper than the weekly. Thirty minutes.

Gross income, total expenses, net income, effective hourly rate.

If you do not know these numbers, say so. The gap is the data point. Over time this section should get more complete — that progression is itself a measure of whether the system is working.

New leads generated, conversion rate, average days from lead to client.

These reveal whether your pipeline is healthy or whether you are running on luck.

Was the constraint at the start of the month the same at the end? Did the month’s work address it?

If it shifted, that is the signal to revisit the change sequence or re-run the diagnostic.

How many processes moved from undocumented to documented? What was the biggest time waste you found?

This tracks whether the business is actually getting more structured, or whether you just feel busier.

On track? If not — is it a constraint problem, an execution problem, or a goal-setting problem? Those need different responses, and confusing them is expensive.
