Prerequisites and Your Project Folder
What you need
Section titled “What you need”Three things: a project folder, a code editor, and a paid Claude subscription. Full detail in What You Need Before You Start.
You do not need Git, GitHub, or any developer tools. The system handles that.
If something during setup asks you to install Git or “command line developer tools” — click Install and let it finish. This is normal on Mac. It can take several minutes. Do not close the window while it is installing.
Create your project folder
Section titled “Create your project folder”This is where your business operating system will live: every file, all your context, and the memory that makes it yours.
- Open your file explorer — File Explorer on Windows, Finder on Mac
- Navigate to Documents, or wherever you want to keep it. Documents or Desktop are both fine.
- Create a new folder
- Name it something clear —
My-Business-OS,90MM-BOS, whatever makes sense to you - Remember where you put it. You will open this folder every time you use the system.
Leave it empty. The deployment prompt fills it.
