The Business Diagnostic

About 15–20 minutes.

Claude Code explains what is coming, then asks one opening question:

Tell me about the people you serve — who are they, why do you serve them, and what value do you provide?

You answer. The system generates three to six follow-up questions based on what you said. You answer those. It synthesises what your answers reveal, then goes deeper.

Five rounds. Each one is built from the last, which is why the questions get sharper as you go.

Be honest. The system cannot help you if you describe the business you wish you had instead of the one you have. This is the single biggest factor in whether the diagnostic is worth anything.

Say “I don’t know” when you do not know. That is data, not failure. Not knowing your expenses says something about your financial visibility. Not knowing where your last five deals came from says something about your pipeline awareness. The gaps are as informative as the answers.

Take your time. There is no clock. Longer answers produce a more accurate diagnostic.

Say “skip” to skip. The system notes it and moves on.

Talk instead of typing. Whispr Flow makes this feel like the conversation it is.

The opening question is deliberately broad. The follow-ups get specific based on what you give it. If they still feel vague, give more detail — the system designs each round from the previous one, so thin answers produce thin questions.
