Daily Use Issues

Claude Code holds context within a session and starts fresh in a new one. But your system’s memory lives in the files — CLAUDE.md, your context files, constraints.md, the diagnostic record.

When a new session starts, it reads CLAUDE.md and its imports, which restores your full context.

If something important happened in a previous session and never made it into a file, tell it: “Update [file] with [information].”

Check your context files. If context/me.md, context/business.md, or context/market.md are incomplete or outdated, the system is working from incomplete information.

Update them, then say: “I’ve updated my context files. Read them and adjust your understanding.”

I want to track something there is no file for

Section titled “I want to track something there is no file for”

Create it: “Create a new context file for [topic].”

It will create the file and register it in CLAUDE.md. The system is designed to grow with the business.

Automatically. The system recognises when you have made a decision — choosing a direction, committing or declining to spend, shifting a priority, creating a process, setting a timeline — and writes it to decisions/log.md as it happens, not at the end of the session.

You do not need to remember to do it.

Tell it: “Log this decision: [what you decided].”

If decisions get missed consistently: “You’re not catching my decisions. Watch for [the pattern you use].” It will adjust its triggers.

Yes — “Show me my recent decisions” or “What decisions have I made about [topic]?”

Every entry is traced to the constraint it addresses, which is what makes the log worth keeping. Over time the pattern of off-constraint decisions becomes diagnostic data in its own right.

If you are a 90MM member with the skill-builder, you do not — it detects capability gaps automatically when a request passes the RPC test.

On the free version: “I want to document the process for [thing I do repeatedly].” Walk it through how you do it. It creates a process file and can structure it as a skill.
